about

This track is the first of three collage songs working directly with texts that centre on racist tests. They are read as reminders of a constant struggle towards and FOR humanity in the face of a systematic and systemic oppression.

The text is an extract from the 1967 edition of "A Survey of Race Relations in South Africa".
